ABOUT OUR TOYOTA LIFT KITS

CalOffroad's exceptional collection of lift kits for Toyota is designed to suit every off-roader, whether you're tackling rugged trails, dominating dunes, or simply craving that aggressive stance.

A Toyota lift kit is the sweet spot for enhanced capability and comfortable on and off-road handling. Gaining inches of ground clearance means rocks, ruts, and steep inclines become mere playthings. Improved approach and departure angles let you tackle obstacles head-on without fearing bumper kisses. Let's face it, a lifted Toyota is going to make you stand out on the roads and the trails.

Many of our Toyota lift kits offer options for shocks and struts, and control arms, allowing you to fine-tune performance and ride quality. Our experts are always happy to guide you through these choices.

Toyota Lift Kits for Hilux, LandCruiser & Prado

Our Toyota lift kits cover the three models most Australians lift:

  • Hilux: N70 (2005–2015), N80 (2015 on) and the Rogue wide body, in 1.5, 2 and 3 inch heights
  • LandCruiser: 76, 78 Troopy, 79 (single and dual cab), 200 and 300 Series
  • Prado: 120, 150 and 250 Series

Kits come from our CalOffroad Nitro Pro and Platinum ranges, plus Fox. There are also Bilstein B60-based Platinum kits for the 70 Series, 200, 300 and Prado 250.

Choosing a lift height for your Toyota

For a lifted Hilux, 2 inches is the popular touring height. A 3 inch Hilux lift usually needs upper control arms and a diff drop. The solid-front 70 Series is different: lifting it reduces caster, so pair your kit with radius arms. On a 79 Series, consider rear track correction too. Lifts over 50mm usually need engineering approval in your state.

TOYOTA LIFT KITS FAQS

ARE TOYOTA LIFT KITS LEGAL IN MY STATE?

We recommend checking your state's website for specific regulations. Below is a guide for your state:
WA: can only lift the roof of your vehicle 50mm in total.
VIC: total lift of the roof must be less than 75mm from factory conditions. The maximum lift from either the tyre is 25mm (50mm diameter increase) or the suspension is 50mm.
NSW: any vehicle you register in NSW can now be lifted to 75mm with a maximum of 50mm diameter (25mm lift) and 50mm from suspension.
SA: Overall, you can lift the roof of your vehicle by 50mm total.
QLD: you can only lift to 50mm. Anything past that (up to 75mm) requires a certificate.
NT: Vehicles are allowed an overall lift up to 100mm total.

CAN I INSTALL A TOYOTA LIFT KIT MYSELF?

We recommend professional installation for optimal performance and safety. But if you are confident in your ability and can follow instructions, you and a mate can do the entire installation yourselves. Just be careful removing the coil spring and remember it is time consuming.

WILL A SUSPENSION LIFT IMPROVE MY TOYOTA’S HANDLING?

A suspension lift may improve your Toyota’s handling and stability performance for on-road and off-road driving. They also provide more clearance for extreme activities.
