Toyota LandCruiser Lift Kits for 70, 200 & 300 Series

Our Toyota LandCruiser lift kits are matched to each body style, because a single cab 79, a Troopy and a 200 Series wagon carry very different weights:

  • 70 Series (76 Wagon, 78 Troopy, 79 single and dual cab): 2, 2–2.5 and 3 inch kits from CalOffroad Nitro Pro, Platinum, Bilstein B60-based kits and Fox, including kits for 4-cylinder models
  • 200 Series (2007 on): 2 inch kits from CalOffroad Nitro Pro and Bilstein B60-based Platinum
  • 300 Series (2021 on): 2 inch Bilstein B60-based Platinum kits

79 Series lift kits: 2 inch or 3 inch?

A 2 inch lift suits most 79 Series that tour or tow, and keeps steering geometry close to factory. A 79 Series 3 inch lift fits bigger tyres and adds clearance for harder tracks, but the solid front axle loses caster as it rises. Pair a 3 inch kit with radius arms (DPF and non-DPF versions) to bring the steering back. The 76, 78 and 79 Series also have a narrower rear track than front, which Dana 60 rear track correction fixes. Lifts over 50mm usually need engineering approval in your state.

200 and 300 Series lift kits

The 200 and 300 Series run independent front suspension, so a 2 inch lift is the sweet spot for clearance without stressing CV joints. For heavy touring loads, our upper control arms for the 200 and 300 Series are also suitable for a certified GVM upgrade.

LandCruiser Lift Kit FAQs

Will a 79 Series lift kit fit my 76 or 78 Series?

Not always. The 76 Wagon, 78 Troopy and 79 single and dual cab share a lot of hardware, but they carry different weights, so the spring rates differ. That's why most kits are listed for one body style. Engine and DPF fitment matter too, especially for radius arms. Check the fitment on each kit, or call us on 1300 225 494.

Do I need radius arms when I lift my LandCruiser?

On a 70 Series, usually yes for anything above about 2 inches. Lifting a solid front axle on factory radius arms rolls it back and reduces caster, which makes the steering feel vague and slow to self-centre. Caster-correcting radius arms restore it. The 200 and 300 Series use independent front suspension, so they use upper control arms instead.

How much can I legally lift my LandCruiser?

It depends on your state. Most allow a modest suspension lift without certification, and bigger lifts, or lifts combined with larger tyres, usually need an engineer's sign-off. Check your state transport authority's rules before you buy, and keep your kit's paperwork for registration and insurance.
